Iwantja Arts and Crafts are being represented at Liquid Gallery permanently. We have a large range of paintings and sculptures to view. Prices start at $150 for the paintings, prints and sculptures and the works vary considerably. Iwantja Community is mainly Yankunytjatjara people living on the eastern side of the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Lands, 8 km from the Stuart Highway in the far north of South Australia, on a dusty rocky ridge called Indulkana. Liquid Gallery is very excited to announce our Grand Opening to celebrate the arrival of the beautiful art of the Iwantja Arts and Crafts people from Anangu lands. We will be celebrating with a special exhibition opening on Saturday 26th June 2010. Food, drinks and  the Shane Spellman Band will be provided for your enjoyment whilst viewing the many paintings, prints and sculptures of these talented people. Each painting represents not only a site but the event that took place there in the Dreaming. Please check our Liquid Gallery Facebook link for painting that are still for sale.

Artists are invited to enter their artwork for sale in this exciting group exhibition. All visitors are encouraged to vote on opening night for the Peoples Choice Prize awarded on the night. Entrants are required to send an email to lisa.kenny@liquidgallery.com.au with your name, how many entries, size and medium. Price tags with name and price will be with each work.  Food and drinks will be provided for you and your friends on opening night. All welcome!
